Conveniently located near city center and metro station. Helpful and friendly staff can assist with organizing activities. Delicious lunch in the cafe. Good price/value ratio.

The bed.
hotel in general is in need of renovation. green carpet could be retired now, if it works. There are pieces on the walls where the paper is torn, water marks on the ceilings (that in the common areas). room, at least the one we had, was a painting. In the wardrobe one of the drawers the front of the drawer was removed and thrown into the cupboard. table had one of the boards broken and table was almost taken apart. bathroom door doesn't close. entrance door was bad, it was stuck and wouldn't let us close it when we came out. There are no plugs in use, I had to plug the mobile in the bathroom and on the floor because there was no socket able to do it. air conditioning is very noisy and grill was loose. I don't think this is a 4* hotel room. great location and wonderful staff.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, the location was absolutely fantastic. It was conveniently situated right across from a metro station and a large shopping center. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city and indulge in some retail therapy. The hotel is also located on the river, providing stunning scenic views, especially on a sunny day.
With its prime location, excellent service, and range of amenities, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

hotel is great for the location. only thing is that the room is quite old and you don't see that in the pictures. Otherwise, great. comfortable. beds are VERY comfortable, even the pillows. heating worked great and hot water in the bathtub came out instantly. note that I think is important is that the light on the TV (the pilot light that stays on) gives a lot of clarity at night, we had to put something on top of the TV because there was no way. It's something I would take into account to change, since it couldn't be unplugged or anything. room was very wide and they changed the towels and made the rooms every morning (something that in other hotels I've been in they don't even deign to do being only two nights.
Perhaps it was a little old and could not be seen in the images and pilot of the television, to get a highlight, because for the rest we loved to spend a weekend.

The hotel is literally just across the road from the Pricipe Pio so it was really easy to travel around Madrid and the Principe Pio shopping mall had everything you could need, including a 24hr opencor! The hotel is extremely central so if you're not fond of the metro or buses, a taxi to or from most places shouldn't cost much. There are restaurants up and down the street (Paseo de Florida) so you've got a great variety to choose from. Check-in was very quick and easy. Staff was relatively polite and helpful. They tried to place both our rooms as close together as possible. Several sets of lifts for quick access. Rooms were clean, spacious, and fresh. Bathrooms were well-equipped. Safe in room offered for low price. Private parking available for only 18euros per day. Multiple gift shops. Hotel was nicely decorated. I honestly liked just about everything.
Just a heads up that because this hotel is so central it caters to all types of people: business men, families, young freinds, elderly couples... Etc. Everyone and anyone can benefit from it. Personally, I wasn't bothered, but some people may enjoy a quieter atmosphere as the lobby and cafe can get a bit rowdy during the daytime.

The bed was comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel had a great location, close to key attractions and transportation links. One of the best aspects was the cheap prices, making it an affordable option for a weekend stay.
The wifi was unreliable, with some rooms not having access at all. The thin walls meant that noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, which was quite disruptive at times.

room was large and beds were comfortable. room was a triple and consisted of two double beds and a single bed of 1. 10. location is very good, we moved on foot (a long walk) to go to the center, passing through the Plaza de España, Gran vía, until we reached the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real. zoo is close by, although it is easy to get there by car. breakfast is not bad, varied. We went by car and as it was August we had no problem finding parking in the area, was blue or green but as it was the weekend it was free, so we saved the price of the hotel parking.
room had a few flaws, such as an unhooked door frame and bathroom socket didn't work, is good that there were several sockets in the room. bathroom is old-fashioned, it should be renovated.

The value for the money was great, with a mid-century feel in the rooms and a convenient location next to the train station and a high-end mall. The staff was extremely helpful and available, making my stay even more enjoyable.
More breakfast options would make the experience even better.

Everything about this large hotel was as expected except the breakfast experience during our five day stay. The hotel has many bus tour groups daily and for some unknown reason large numbers of these people bring bags (backpacks, handbags, satchels and you name it (one brought a hotel issue laundry bag - no lie)) into breakfast and stuff them with food. Many make up sandwiches etc at the table and wrap them in table napkins, others openly pack plastic boxes etc. Individuals make numerous trips from their tables to the food areas unchallenged by the breakfast staff. The hotel has signs saying that no food is to leave the dining room and the management cannot not know what is happening because of the massive amounts of food they supply. Lots of people take the odd item from breakfast at hotels - but this is a whole new experience.

Very convenient location - 30 mins on Metro from Airport. Good hotel for the price.
Don't expect a 4* hotel - rather dated drab interior

Spacious room with a beautiful view of the river and royal palace. The location was ideal, right across from a metro station and a large mall with plenty of dining options. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Good buffet breakfast, including hot dishes. Metro station and big shopping mall across the street. River view from part of the rooms.
Many rooms have a rather old installation in the bathrooms. No minibar. Poor audio insulation - you hear all from the neighbour room.
